Founded in 2024 by Nicola Gillespie, Equigenesis Ltd is Ireland's first equine reproductive biotechnology centre. We specialise in ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), Pre-implantation genetic testing, embryo culture, and cryopreservation, to enhance breeding outcomes while preserving the genetic integrity of Irish bloodlines. Our approach combines laboratory biotechnology with mobile on-site services, eliminating the need for mare transport and ensuring accessibility, welfare, and efficiency for breeders across Ireland. Equigenesis is redefining how breeding excellence is achieved - supporting both elite sport horse producers and custodians of traditional Irish breeds.
